Thursdays

I have Thursdays free! Haha! Actually, it’s not a big deal at all, cos friday’s are my worst days. But oh well.

My glasses are broken, and are now in Sunny Singapore. I have run out of contacts. The earliest I’ll be able to get ANY at all is on Monday. So I’m going to be BLINDED for 3 days. And tomorrow’s my orientation.

What a great way to make an impression.

Anyways, Alicia and I have reconfigured our apartment, and filled our bean bag. the place is still tiny, but it’s a lot more cozy now.

And we had a gathering over at our place! Alicia cooked. (doh) And it was DEEELICIOUS!!!! Seriously.

Taboo playing was a fantastic idea… next time, mahjong! haha!

Hi Melbournites

My current timetable is almost virtually empty. I have no classes on Monday/Tuesday and Friday for now. Maybe I can go up more often that I expected. Maybe a Thursday – Tuesday every week. HAHAHAHA.

Met a few other Gippsland Singaporean students. All girls (except me and Andrew). And all can’t cook.

As the day(s) draw nearer

I know some of you have reached or are nearing the single-digit for your countdown to Melbourne… But I’m still at 20 days, and it’s only just starting to hit me.

As excited as I am to leave, I’m going to miss late night shisha and Mustafa with my sis, my bed, irritating my bro and meeting up with mah SG homies.

You can’t pack memories and good times in a suitcase and/or box.

Sigh, I’m just getting sentimental. Good thing I bought my camera to document these last days.

Cheers to more good times and memories in Melbourne, mates! Let’s meet up regularly for a good dinner or something.

Hello from Melbourne, y’all.

The weather’s goooood. And cold. And not humid. And windy. I hope you’re enjoying yourselves back home.

Haven’t found Alicia and my apartment yet. Grace! Beware! The property market is CRAZY.

And I just ate at the bistro next to Nobu. Ok, I didn’t earn a lot during my internship at the sis’s company, so I’m going to have to request that our Nobu date wait a little. I need to find a job and work my ass off to afford one of those stupid meals. But it looks great, though!

Degraves road at Flinders looks pretty cozy, but the mum didn’t want to walk in. So we’ll just have to check it out when we’re here. I think there are some pubs there.

Ok, I’ll be arriving tomorrow. So, I guess I’ll pass you guys the brochures I picked up for you then.

I miss home! I miss wearing slippers EVERYDAY, and my maid’s cooking. Especially my maid’s cooking. And some time with friends.
